Bishop George R. Archie, Sr. was born to the late Robert and Geneva Archie in Farmersville, LA. The second oldest of six children, Bishop Archie dropped out of school in the eighth grade to help support his family. In 1964, Bishop Archie received salvation and was trained under the ministry of the late Pastor Bessie Whitney. He later received a degree from the Sacramento Bible College under the instruction of Dr. C. Gifford.
In February 1967, Bishop Archie married Sis. Annie Archie and today they have 18 children (many of whom help in the ministry), numerous grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
After establishing Moments of Blessings House of Prayer in 1968 along with the help of his brother, Bishop James Archie, Bishop Archie has gone on to travel extensively throughout the United States and overseas. God has given him a five-fold ministry in addition to a great outreach ministry which consists of television, radio, feeding programs, witnessing teams, and many more.
At age 72, Bishop Archie continues to travel the world preaching the gospel
of Jesus Christ and sharing with many the wisdom that God has given him. He is still the Senior Pastor of Moments of Blessing in Sacramento, and has just recently published a book titled "When Law Meets Grace."
